Safety Toolkit

This toolkit provides information on street safety improvements that the Los Angeles Department of Transportation installs through its Vision Zero Initiative. Although LADOT uses a variety of techniques to improve the safety and health of Los Angeles residents, in its present work, Vision Zero most frequently uses the safety improvements included here. These documents explain what each tool does, what locations are appropriate for its use, as well as its benefits and other considerations of note. Cost, timeframe, and effectiveness are also rated.
